How our kitchen utensils are made

Our wooden spoons and utensils are handmade at our shop in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Each utensil is carved and hand-sanded to a smooth finish. Prioritizing local resources, we use hardwoods sourced from the Eastern United States including, Black Cherry, Maple, and Walnut. This allows us to be both friendly to the environment and supportive of local industry. 

How to use your Lancaster wooden spoon set

The diversity of options included in our five-piece set will enable you to tackle preparing all of your favorite dishes. Each set includes three wooden spoons, a wooden fork, and a spatula. It is the best kitchen utensil set for everything from stirring and sautéing to mixing and serving. Additionally, the spoon and fork can be used as salad servers, the risotto spoon is great for stirring rice, oatmeal, and stew, and the angled spatula can be used in almost any cooking application.

Caring for your cooking utensils

Wooden spoons and other cooking utensils should be washed by hand after each use and towel dried before storing. We recommend periodically applying wood wax to your utensils to keep them hydrated. This prevents your utensils from drying out and cracking and will allow them to last a lifetime in your kitchen.
